WebI thought Katara trapping Azula was pretty clever, but the fact that she had enough water to trap a human is a downright deux ex machina. Having Zuko block the lightning for Katara was fine in my opinion. It took Zuko out of the fight, giving his companion something to do, while still showing him to be evenly matched.
