For basic gravel that is packed and smooth sure a 32mm or even 28mm for some people is cush compared to the 23mm-25mm they run on their road bikes, but for me a proper "gravel" bike bare min starts at 38mm and ideally 42mm is the sweet spot. True that I think that where I live it is quite smooth.
